**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of general accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the accounting processes. The General Accounting Clerk will assist with accounts payable/receivable, billing deals, and support month-end closing procedures. Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaboration are essential for success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are accurate and paid in a timely manner.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments as necessary.

-Have the ability to Bill deals or contracts.

- Support month-end closing activities, including the compilation of required documentation and reconciliation of accounts.
- Verify and track expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- File and maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding financial transactions and account status.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial procedures are followed and to address any discrepancies or issues.
- Participate in financial audits and provide support as required.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Proven experience working in an accounting role or related field is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software CDK and Tekion.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
